Description: Compact, 3-phase, dry, aluminiumcase power factor correction (PFC) capacitors are manufactured in India. The ESTAdry ACMKP metallised polypropylene film capacitors are optimised for PFC in applications up to 1000 V. Over-current capability up to three times rated current, and inrush capability up to 300 times rated current make these ESTAdry ACMKP metallised polypropylene film capacitors durable and reliable power factor correction capacitors. A choice of slim 64-mm or 84-mm can diameters maximizes cooling efficiency. Each ACMKP series capacitor has three stacked winding elements, connected to create a compact 3-phase capacitor having no risk of device breakdown between the winding elements as neighbouring contact areas are on the same voltage level. A wide range of output values is available, from 5 kVAr to 30 kVAr (at 440-V standard rating) at very low losses below 0.25 W per kVAr. Single-phase capacitors also are available. A choice of M5 screw-on terminals or double push-on terminals allows secure, fast, and easy assembly in a wide variety of industrial and agricultural applications, from low-voltage plants and distribution equipment to motors, transformers, generators, converters, drives and many other situations where reactive power must be minimised. The ACMKP series is suitable for use in automatic PFC, individual PFC, group PFC, tuned and detuned capacitor banks, and harmonic trap networks. Life expectancy of 130,000 hours ensures low maintenance and low cost of ownership for equipment incorporating these capacitors. These ESTAdrv ACNIKP capacitors are supplied with discharge resistors and hardware for mounting and connection. An M12 stud for mounting is also provided on the base of the can.
