Our assembly consists of molding engineering thermoplastics onto a metal or plastic mesh. They can be used for filtering both air and liquids. In-Mold Decoration (IMD) is a process of overmolding on decorated thermoplastic film or an appliqué with an overlay of melted thermoplastic material. Once the component has been ejected from the mold, the graphics cannot be removed as the cooled component and film now form a single unit. We overmold 10 nylon blades with 30% fiberglass on a steel insert 40 cm long to be assembled with a molded cartridge having a tolerance range of 0.1% on its entire length.
