The `straight-through' design supports higher flow rates and hence reduces the build-up of deposits. It additionally allows cleaning to take place by rodding. The HRPV series valve features an 8-turn actuation cycle, with a rolled spindle thread and smaller sealing area - lowering the torque required when controlling high-pressure fluid flows and provides a long life. Their body is designed in either of the two patterns- inline 2-port design and an inline design with a standard 3-port gauge interface at one end. In its smallest ¼-inch female NPT version, the overall body length of the compact valve measures just 60.5mm (2.39 inches). The valve is fabricated with 316 stainless steel and can optionally be specified in a wide range of exotic alloys - including titanium, hastelloy, alloy 625, duplex, inconel, and monel.
