Profile: Polycab Wires Pvt. Ltd. manufactures and exports continuous casting of aluminum, copper, steel, iron, and metals of all kinds, wires & cables. Our products include co-axial, control, fire retardant, high temperature, instrumentation, LAN, power, shield, submersible & welding cables, & winding and welding wires. Submersible cables have low conductor resistance, and these cables are insulated with a special grade PVC compound. The tough robust outer PVC jacket protects it from oils, greases, various chemicals and abrasions, thereby giving long life & electrical safety. The PVC insulated cables are used for giving electrical connection to the submersible pump motors. These are manufactured keeping in mind the severe, tough and difficult conditions in which they have to operate. It is a specialized product to be used for submersible pumps in a deep well. The area of installation is physically restrictive, and the environment is very hostile. In wire drawing, the copper & aluminum wire rods are drawn on high speed wire drawing machines that have an on-line annealing system. The annealing process acts as an on-line inspector. Excessive voids, inclusions and other internal wire defects will cause annealer burnout (burn the wire in half), thus preventing those defects from entering into a finished cable. The diameter of drawn wire is maintained in close tolerance.
