Description: HT-7 portable hardness tester is an advanced hand-held model, characterised by its high accuracy, wide measuring range and simplicity of operation. It is suitable for testing the hardness of metals and alloys, and is widely used in many industrial fields, such as petroleum and chemical plants heavy machinery and electric and power industries. The applications include insitu measurement on machines and heavy parts of assembled systems; moulding surface of die, heavy work pieces; hardness analysis of pressure vessel, turbo generator set; bearing and other mass-produced parts on production line as well as identification of materials by measuring strength of material. The functions include ability to identify impact device (D); to input and print serial number of test, test date; to select kind of material to be tested, and the impact direction. It stores up to nine readings; gives average value and recalls last nine readings; used to print label and test results; to display hardness value in any scale (HL, HRC, HRB, HB, HV and HSD); to convert the hardness value into the strength value of the material; and to monitor battery and give Low Batt warning.
