Profile: Portatalk Electronics, Inc. deals with audio and video equipment. Our product line includes PORTaTALK®, PORTaSOUND®, PORTaMIKE® and other accessories. Our PORTaTALK® PA system is capable of addressing up to 150 persons in a noisy environment. This audio system offers the option to use a plug-in microphone and/or a wireless microphone. The hand-held microphone is very versatile. It can be used as a wireless microphone, or can become a hard-wired mic by unplugging the antenna and plugging in the 12 foot cord; all of which are included. The PA audio system comes with a wireless transmitter with volume control that can be used concurrently with either a lapel microphone or a head-set microphone. Our PORTaSOUND small PA system also includes a built-in cassette player with a separate volume control. This provides the PORTa® sound user the added option of using the voice over feature during group presentations. This is a feature usually reserved for larger, more expensive sound units made to address groups larger than 250 in number.
