Description: Power capacitors (SVAR) are heavy duty Sprague celts of individual ratings from 2 kVAR to 15 kVAR. Features include compact size cells; ECCOL jelly filled wet type, PP capacitors; suitable for very heavy duty, harmonic laden environments with operating temperature range of -46°C to 46°C. These capacitors are capable of continuous operation at 120% of rated voltage. These can withstand up to 135% of rated current continuously and can handle high level of harmonies. Other features include UL recognised three phase pressure interrupters; and 10 kA fault clearing capacity; CSA and CE recognised; WAR delivery constant throughout the life, only positive tolerance of 0% to +5% allowed; low losses less than 0.25 W per kVAR including discharge resistors; and designed life of 20 years.
