Description: Power Factor Improvement Panel is a compact, stand alone/modular unit. It comprises of a micro processor power factor relay; capacitor duty contactors; choice of type of capacitor; low wait loss; short pay-back period; digital indication of power factor; current, THD; automatic self-adjustment to any kVAR value; monitoring of harmonics; over-voltage protection; no-volt release feature to immediately disconnect all capacitors in the event of power failure; detection and display of over-voltage, over-current, harmonics and power factor under compensation. It is optionally provided with RS485 communication port with software. The main functions: cost-effective solution to manage power factor and to improve life of capacitors; quick payback period; necessary switch gear contactors, isolating switches, HRC fuses and an intelligent micro processor based power factor controller, for switching the externally/ internally installed capacitor banks for integrated management of load power factor.
