Power Supply cum Battery Charger specifications include: input voltage ranging from 170V to 270V AC, having single phase (line, neutral and earth), frequency ranging from 47 to 53 Hz, efficiency greater than 80% @ 230V AC input, full load radio output voltage of 13.5V ± 0.2V, current of 10A (135 W max), line and load regulation less than 2% (without battery connected), ripple (0 -- 20 MHz bandwidth) less than l % (with 10uF and 0.1uF across the measuring point) and noise (0 - 20 MHz bandwidth) less than 2% (with 10uF and 0.1 uF across the measuring point). It also includes over voltage protection through PSU trips above 15V and resumes normal operation after input power recycling, over load/short circuit protection output folds back or goes in to Hickup mode, if the current exceeds 110% of the rated current, charger output voltage of 13.5V ±0.2V (will follow radio output setting, when battery is connected will follow battery voltage), current of 6A (radio current <4.0A), battery deep discharge cut-off <10.8V, reconnect >1 1.4 battery reverse protection, battery is cut-off from the output and an audible alarm is activated. The output On indicates that the output is available; battery low indicates battery is low and it is isolated from radio; trickle charge indicates battery is fully charged.
