Description:
Precision Centreless Grinding Machine GCL-63/GCL-63(A) is used for grinding of cylindrical parts of various materials like steel, copper, aluminium, plastic, glass, porcelain and rubber. The machine bed is a box structure design providing very high rigidity. The guideways are coated with Turcite material, which gives absolutely no stick slip motion. The wheel head is fixed on the bed. The nitride and super-finished spindle is supported on multi-point hydrodynamic bearings and is driven by electric motor, which is fixed to the bed, thus isolating vibrations to maintain high precision. The regulating wheel head is mounted on the feed slide. It can be traversed by hand-operated lever over dovetail guideways and swivelled about a vertical axis for taper grinding, tilted down about a horizontal axis in order to achieve an axial displacement of the ground work piece during through feed grinding operations. The regulating wheel spindle is made of high-grade case hardening steel. It is driven by an AC frequency drive with an infinitely variable speed.
