Our compression springs are coiled to a constant outside diameter. Extension spring designs are used to store energy and to exert a pulling force. Torsion springs offer resistance to externally applied loads through angular deflection of the spring ends. Wire forms take many shapes from simple beams or cantilever designs to complex configurations including multi-plane bending.
