The system can control both lens functions (focus, iris, and zoom) as well as camera functions (speed, shutter angle, and VTR). The DM1X digital motor (left pair) has the speed and power of any available lens motor. It is specifically intended to focus cinema lenses, allowing for quick focus racks on even very large zoom lenses. Its gears are coated with diamond like carbon (DLC) to provide toughness. It is compatible with the FI+Z MDR2 unit, the digital micro force and the one-channel video lens control.
