Description: Programmable delay timer, Model ST1006 is offered now. This delay timer generates TTL pulses at desired time delay from 0-100 s in digitally programmable fine steps of 100 ns (0100,000,000,000 ns) and the On time or Off time pulse width can be from 0-100 s in digitally programmable fine steps of 100 ns (0-100000,000,000 ns). Signal repeat rate is from 0.01 Hz to 1660 Hz. Pulse risetime <5 ns and time fitter among 6 independent time signals is just <500 ps. This technology is highly useful for defence and environmental applications and is used in time of flight experiments and ion beam experiments like ion mass spectroscopy. The first trial user of the equipment is the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, who have shown their satisfaction after evaluation. This technology is now available for research in India.
