Protected Element Transducers are used for rough, irregular or hot surface. There are three different types of protective faces such as protected membrane, protected wear cap and high temperature delay line. Protected membrane is designed to improve coupling with the rough-surface test materials. Protected wear cap prevents the transducers from being damaged by the rough-surface test materials.
