Description: Protection caps are used for head protection, in masking for plating and painting, dust protection, product identification and other industrial applications and can be of any design, size, shape and colour. The protection caps exhibit glossy exterior surfaces without parting lines, flash, or mould and gate marks. These are durable, resistant to weathering, aging, cracking and deterioration and resistant to ozone attack. The range of wall thicknesses and lengths is possible without expensive retooling and the cushioning and softness protect sharp edges from impact damage. Dip moulded caps and plugs of varying lengths result in low retooling charges typically a fraction of injection moulding and the use of vinyl material enables stretching to fit odd shapes and easily conform to beaded or flared tubes. The vinyl material will not crack or split like low density polyethylene and does not shred when capping or plugging threaded items. These result in quick and inexpensive prototypes and accommodate innovative materials and textures and vibrant colours.
