The process disc within the Ionex valve rotates around a central axis and distributes the different flow streams to the cells containing ion exchange resin or other adsorption materials. A major application for ion exchange system is the purification of water for drinking, and for industrial & commercial use. It is also used widely in wastewater treatment. Ionex is used in both softening & de-alkalisation processes in beverage production & breweries, and in any other application that involves potable water.
