Profile: R & FD Castings provides all types of aluminum castings. We manufacture casting using ferrous and non-ferrous metals specializing in aluminum. To produce these castings we use green sand molding, alpha set, or die casting. We also specialize in floor molding. The finishing operations on gravity die castings are minimal compared to conventional sand casting. Usually on a gravity die casting, the joint line is minimal, and in some circumstances the need for finishing is not required. A gravity die tooling is able to produce gravity die castings without the need of refurbishment. Floor molding is an efficient way of producing a one-off casting or a small run of castings.
