A rapid prototyping machine uses a computer controlled laser to cure a photo-sensitive resin, layer by layer, to create the 3D part. Vacuum casting is a fast and economical process used to create near production polyurethane components from silicone tools. Parts can be used for design verification, product testing, photography, packaging, tool making aids, and even as short run production components. Castings can also be insert molded, over-molded and accurately color matched to specifications.
