Profile: Rakshan Equipments is a manufacturer, supplier and exporter of cooling towers & water softeners. Our plate type heat exchanger is made of two frames and several blades depending on the volume to be exchanged. The plates have ridges that create flow channels through which fluid moves in opposing currents. This minimizes the requirement of surface area for an optimal heat exchange. The frames are made out of two painted carbon steel slabs and the internal plates having gaskets on the outer edge separates the plates from one another. The internal plates are fixed together tightly by stay bolts, obtaining a perfect hold. This assembly permits fluid input and output on the same side of only one slab. This method allows to take down the plates of free side for easy cleaning.
