Reactive Barrier Walls Suppliers

Reactive barrier walls are passive treatment systems that permit groundwater flow through a specific treatment medium. Contaminants in the groundwater react with the installed medium. These contaminants are either degraded, precipitated or absorbed, depending on the type of contaminant and the medium used. It remediates contaminated groundwater and soil without mass excavation, disposal, or conventional pump & treat methods. Usually, a treatment media or reactive barrier is buried in a narrow trench beneath the ground surface so that contaminated groundwater passes through the media, and it emerges clean because contaminates are treated and/or removed by the reactive barrier.
