The cane bolt pin can be removed from either hinge, allowing the gate to swing right to left. It has 3 grade 5 bolts with nuts and oversized washer gives you greater strength. Both pivot pins are removed, the section can be quickly removed and set to the side. This design uses the post to help distribute the energy from an impact over the entire system. The couple of bolts is used to keep the system from failing.
