Profile: Richard Wolf is a manufacturer of borescopes, fiberscopes and videoscopes. Our VIPAQ™ is a videoscope system with a direct digital USB output. It is capable of storing digital pictures directly on the computer hard disk by a remote button on the handle. The flexible tip of the videoscope is steerable by remote control in 2 directions. With the help of a built-in friction brake, each position of the bendable tip can be locked as desired. Our TVP-6 videoscopes are equipped with multi-layer rugged flexible insertion shaft, tungsten wire braid outer jacket, and water-proof flexible shaft. It is provided with four way tip angulation and exchangeable objective lenses. Our blending scope is used to abrade foreign object damage on the high pressure compressor blades of aircraft engines or gas turbines. It is mostly used when the engine is still on-wing. The shaft of our scope is inserted through the standard borescope ports. The blending process is observed through an in-built high resolution optical lens system, either by direct vision through the ocular eyepiece, or through any standard video camera system on a monitor.
