Profile: Rochester Precision Optics designs & manufactures lenses, assemblies and sub-assemblies. Our products include molded glass aspheres, aspherical optics, traditional optics, diamond turning and thin film optical coatings. Our assembly capabilities include rapid prototyping, custom-built & high volume assembly of aspheres, doublets, triplets, lens sub-assemblies and image modules. Test capabilities include characterization of radiometric properties, MTF, longitudinal & lateral aberrations and lens centration. Mechanical assemblies are supported by our in-house machine shop, using the CNC equipment for fabrication of precision lens spacers and barrels.
