Profile: Rolyn Optics Co. specializes in offering optical products. Our products include simple lenses, compound lenses, photo enlarging, copy & projection lenses, prisms, optical flats, flat glass & windows, mirrors, lasers, & related modules and microscopes. Our aspheric lenses are molded and fire polished lenses, designed to minimize spherical aberrations which are of major concern in condensing systems. Beamsplitters are semi-mirrors which reflect part of the incident energy (absorb a relatively small part), and transmit the rest. Some are neutral and some are spectrally selective. We supply both types. They are generally identified by ratio of transmission to reflection (T/R) at 550nm. Thickness tolerance for 1 mm thick beamsplitters is ± .25 mm typical. We also design and fabricate optical components.
