Description: Rotary turn table, Model RT 51 is specially suitable for circular welds. It comprises of chuck plate driven by a DC motor coupled with speed reduction gearbox. The turn table unit with chuck plate can be tilted in 0 to 90o to suit a variety of jobs. The speed control is achieved by thyristor control. The direction of rotation can be pre selected by Rev/for switch, the rotation can be initiated by a simple foot switch. More advanced turn table units with auto stop after 360° and some overlap and with torch up/down units incorporating auto weld cycle are also available. Features include DC drive with gearbox to get low speeds; Reverse/Forward direction selection switch; Rotation initiation by foot switch; Turn tables swivel within 0 to 90°; thyristor control for speed control; dynamic braking circuit for instantaneous stoppage; and spring loaded carbon brush for earth.
