Description: Synthetic Rubber Mastic Sealant is tacky material, yet can be molded to any shape by hand without soiling the hands. It will stick to any substrate, including, polyethylene, polypropylene and nylon. 'Sealite' is self merging type - layers flow into one another to form a uniform body of material. It can withstand temperatures of - 80 to 120°C continuously, has excellent dielectric properties, and is highly resistant to all outdoor weathering conditions, including U.V. radiation. It is mainly used in applications like sealing of aluminium, steel or wooden window frames, air handling equipment, corrugated roofs and ductings against water, dust and insects, electrical insulation on bus bars, cable ends or terminations, sealing electrical equipment chambers against water, dust and vermin and which may cause short circuits.
