Profile: San Joaquin Helicopters specializes in fire fighting. We use bambi buckets or fixed helitanks with retardant foam capability for water delivery. We place cargo loads of as much as 4,000 pounds using Bell 212, UH1 "Super B," or jetranger series helicopters. We utilize forward looking infrared radar equipped aircraft to find leaks, breaks and hotspots. We locate faults in power lines, insulators, joints & substations.
