Our boring tool is usually a modular tool, consisting of a basic holder, adapter and a cutting unit in the form of a cartridge, slide or fine boring unit. The fine boring head holds a boring bar or cartridge. The reamer has a tool shank and a close pitch head with brazed blades. The tools, except the reamer, are radially adjustable within a specific diameter range. Our single-edge boring is usually applied for finishing operations and for roughing and finishing in materials where chip control is demanding. The single-edge boring tool may also be a solution when machine power is a limiting factor.
