Our satcon electronics 68 series .020" X .020" thin film chip resistors are available in both top-contact and back-contact versions in a wide range of resistances & tolerances. Values are available from 1 ohm to 500 Kohms. Both passivated nichrome and tantalum-nitride resistor versions are available. Nichrome provides stability and temperature coefficient in hermetic applications while tantalum-nitride provides moisture-resistance for non-hermetic applications. Satcon thin film laser diode submounts are manufactured on BeO, AlN or alumina substrate materials. These assemblies are available with multiple metallization materials that are precisely deposited. Selective deposition of AuSn eliminates the need for pre-forms, saving assembly costs. Satcon standard alloy composition is 80/20 (AuSn). Substrates may have multiple metallization patterns and thickness depending on your requirements for design flexibility.
