Scalding Tanks is specially designed for small and high capacity hog slaughterhouses where pull trough conveyorized bleeding and scalding system is used. It is possible to fit in many configurations. A high volume of water is circulated against the hog to keep pressure on it, bring back to the suction point any possible floaters and keep the same temperature in the whole tank. The surface is maintained with a maximum of steam to fill the surface with natural foam assuring a better condition for workers and a perfect scald. It is constructed by painted steel plate. Sides can be insulated and covered outside. Water circulation pump, suction and discharge pipes, steam pipes and injection nozzles, drain valves and overflow. It has electronic temperature controller.
