Description: Scanner, 8-Channel - T-SCN is an advanced and sophisticated micro controller based multipoint monitoring and alarm system. It can be used in conjunction with any transmitter to scan and display any process variable like level, temperature, pressure and flow, in their corresponding desired units. It operates on an input signal of 4-20 mA or 1 to 5 V DC from the transmitters. This analogue input is digitized through A to D converter and then calibrated through its microprocessor, which also controls the output functions of display and relays as configured. Besides being configured for individual set points per channel, it can also calculate volume for either linear or nonlinear tanks in-situ. Input and output terminals are pluggable type, hence detachable from the scanner without removing field connections resulting in saving valuable time, during calibration of units at the time of servicing. T-SCN comes with password protection for all configurable data and as a special option with RS232 or RS485 serial communication with modbus protocol and additional 8 relays. The scanner is available in panel mounting or wall mounting enclosures.
