Profile: Screen Systems (Wire Workers) Ltd. is a manufacturer of tensile quarry screens, wedge wire and metal conveyor belts. We provide wedge wire, plain chain link belts, and Duplex belts. Wedge wire is suitable for making up into large floor areas. The unique properties of our looped wedge floors provide a smooth surface, uniform & accurate slots, and mechanical strength unrivaled by other systems. Our plain chain link belts are suitable only for comparatively shot runs and light load, owing to their tendency to stretch and narrow in width under heavy loads. Duplex belts are variants of the rod reinforced chain link belt, or of the balanced spiral belt, and offer substantial increases in strength with the added bonus of a dense smooth carrying surface. Round coil is used as a conveyor belt, but is more frequently used for decorative purposes. Flat spiral belts are ideal for general conveying of a wide nature, where good drainage is not a requirement.
