Profile: SecurantUSA offers fuel, fleet, and customer loyalty management systems. SecurGPS or SecurCAN communicates with the Secur-e-Pump, sending the vehicle fueling and GPS information collected since the last refueling. Secur-e-Pump sends the information to the SecurPC, and from there to servers, the fleet owner, dealership, and/or the clearing center as needed. With the nozzle inserted into the fuel inlet, the SecurNozzle is close enough to the SecurButton for data transfer (about 3cm to 6cm). Removing the nozzle from the fueling inlet will break the communication between the SecurButton and the SecurNozzle, immediately stopping the flow of fuel. SecurCAN is a long range smart tag that is installed on the vehicle windshield and supplies the secure identification information about the vehicle, its engine hours, location data (GPS data), odometer reading, speed reading, driver behavior (harsh breaking and acceleration) and is powered by the vehicles battery.
