KMC 7000, is a semi-automatic thread book sewing machine offered by Kalsi Machinery Co. It is an ideal machine for section sewing of hardbound and paperback books. The machine is completely risk-free as signatures are put on a moving chain. The variable speed of the machine can be monitored with a knob. The section sewing with lining is an additional feature of the machine that helps in the strengthening of hardbound books. The output of this machine is double that of an ordinary machine. The technical data include: the machine is capable of stitching the largest size of book measuring about 425 x 225 mm (16.5" x 9") and the smallest size of book measuring about 150 x 100 mm (6" x 4"). It runs at the speed of 110 to 150 sections per minute. The motor has the capacity of 0.75 kW (1 HP) and has a variable speed controller with the rotor speed of about 1400 RPM.
