Description: Shear blades up to 2000 mm length are manufactured for both hot and cold operations and are available to shear foils as thin as 0.2 mm thick and billets as thick as 100 mm. Other products offered include chipper knives for chipping operations in all types of paper and wood industries. Selection of raw material, processing and fabrication of shear blades and knives are carried out in sophisticated plants. Care is taken to ensure that the knives have required hardness, compression strength, wear resistance, longer cutting edge life, toughness and shock resistance. Special heat treatment is employed to give differential hardness to knives, whenever required.
