Shotblast-wheels turbines are offered by Konrad Rump. The standard types are available with the wheel diameter of 300, 400 and 500 mm. The abrasive throwing speed depends upon the size and revolution and runs between 40-100 m/sec. The salient features include: mechanical pre-acceleration of abrasive, the best possible efficiency-degree with minimum working load by direct drive up to 400 mm wheel-diameter, high lifetime of wear parts by the best possible selection of material, and easy and fast change of wear parts. The turbines serve as a module for modernising or help in the conversion of existing plants.
