As it has a very low co-efficient of friction chains slides easily without much effort or initial torques at both the pulley ends. Polyurethane spring combines the strength of plastic & the elasticity of rubber. It eliminates the limitations of wire springs and rubber bushes. Wire springs have the tendency to break under high pressure and permanent set in a short time. It can sustain very high loads at higher hardness than rubber.
