Profile: Silvey has been manufacturing saw chain grinders and hydraulic tree jacks since 1965. Our grinders are assembled, quality checked, ground on, set and tested before being boxed and shipped. Because everything is put together before being shipped all you have to do is take it out of the box, put it on a stand and you are ready to grind some chain! Our grinders and jacks are manufactured and assembled right here in the USA. After being machined in some cases to within .005 thousandth of an inch tolerance. No pulling out the toolbox hoping someone hasn't been borrowing your tools or your that kids haven't been using the screwdriver as a shovel again! You won't be thinking, "I wonder if this is supposed to wobble this much? I must have put this together right, there were no pieces left over." - We have done it for you! Our jacks are machined, pressure tested, fully assembled boxed and shipped right from Silvey. We even include our specialized Silvey Tree Saver hydraulic fluid so it's ready to go when you get it.
