Profile: Sirco Machinery Company Ltd. is a distributor of automation products. We manufacture a complete line of CNC vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, along with CNC lathes and rotary products. We also build specialty machines such as 5-axis machining centers, mold making machining centers, toolroom machines and gantry routers. Horizontal lathes can proved to be particularly advantageous in the production of cylindrical parts. Along with producing table legs and chess pieces with a CNC lathe, it is also possible to produce a variety of other spherical parts. Horizontal lathes are typically used in machining operations that require high precision. This type of machine is available in a variety of sizes as well as levels of automation, power ratings, and designs. Standard lathes consist of a machined base or bed combined with a drive mechanism. A supporting tail is located at the end while a headstock is situated at the other end of the machine. The work piece is then supported in the headstock, where it can be rotated quickly around its axis during production.
