Description: Traclite slideway is a PTFE-based high performance engineering plastic material consisting of sintered bronze along with special wear resistant additives. It is a self-lubricating wear resistant material suitable for operating temperatures up to 2600°C. It is used on machine tool guideways or any linear movement applications, to avoid metal-to-metal sliding contact, where reduced friction and wear resistance are critical design considerations. Components like bushes, thrust washers, bearing shells, bushes and rods are manufactured from Traclite slideway material for rotating or linear or oscillating or a combination of movements.
