Description: Solder Fume Collector is used for filtration & elimination of industrial pollutants, mist, dust, smoke, and fumes. All types of soldering processes unavoidably give rise to extremely toxic and poisonous fumes. Filter on solder fume collector very effectively collects solder fumes from wave soldering, solder baths and soldering stations, thereby avoiding several health hazards. The collector is very compact, consumes less power, hence economical and ensures least noise pollution. It works on the advanced technology of electrostatic precipitation (ESP), and is capable of covering six soldering stations or four solder baths or one wave soldering machine. The device has a unique, double-pass cross configuration design, medium hi-voltage operation to achieve optimum collection efficiency down to sub-micron particulates of fumes. Since the pressure-drop is very negligible, there is power saving to the tune of 30-35% as compared to the same size cartridge type or other units. All fume-collecting elements are of metallic plates, which can be cleaned and re-used for a lifetime of 15-20 years. Therefore, it has no recurring cost of cartridge/other media replacement. The collector is suitable for all PCB manufacturing, and other electronic component manufacturing units for indoor air pollution control applications. Operations with standard design are completely safe up to 75°C. Special construction units can be supplied for higher temperature up to 200°C.
