Profile: Southwest Refractory of Texas installs refractory and acid proof lining systems throughout the petrochemical, refining, paper and power industries. These installations include a variety of materials including fire brick, insulating fire brick, castables, plastic refractories, and ceramic fiber blanket and module systems. Our acid proof linings include acid brick systems, high density polyethylene trench and sumps, epoxy toppings/ coatings, ashphaltic membrane systems, and fiber reinforced plastic linings. We perform continuous monitoring and inspection on all projects. Sandblasting and painting of lined equipment can also be performed at our shop. We provide two component castable linings for the refining and chemical industry and we focus on the design and installation of refractory anchor systems.
