Description: Space Heaters are manufactured for preventing condensation, corrosion, leakage currents in LT and HT switchgear panel boards/electronic instruments and panels. It comprises of a stainless steel sheathed cartridge heating element in perforated sheet metal enclosure. Its black powder coated finishing ensures rapid heat dissipation. A 2 x 2.5 mm2 porcelain terminal block is provided for electrical connection. It could be installed vertically or horizontally, although horizontal mounting is much preferred. The distance from the surface of panel should be at least 10 mm and distance from plastic parts should be at least 50 mm. Each heater is tested for high voltage test at 2 kV for 1 min; insulation resistance greater than 10 mega ohms; and power rating within ±5%, and is available in rating from 40 to 300 W at 110, 230, and 415 V.
