Capstan haulers are robust machines designed for professional use in arduous conditions. They can be used for any rope hauling application and anchor handling. Larger capstan heads, 7, 9, 11 & 14 inch diameter are cast iron. These can be fitted with a variety of drives and mounting arrangements, giving pulls from 1 ton up to 4 tons. NCF2 is a larger flaker for the larger vessel, and can handle nets with floats. It is a smaller flaker for vessels up to about 35 feet, but is suitable for nets with floating headrope only.
