Description:
Spray Dryers are user-friendly and fitted with latest technically advanced tool sets to safeguard it against the wear and tear of atomising system. A spray dryer consists of a large cylindrical and usually vertical chamber, into which material to be dried is fed in the form of small droplets. Hot air is fed to supply the heat necessary to complete evaporation of liquid. There are three types of design considerations that include: (1) co-current type, where feed and hot air is from the same side, feed is from rotary atomiser & nozzle; (2) counter current, where feed is from top side and hot air from bottom side, feed is from rotary atomiser & nozzle; and (3) co-counter type, where feed is from bottom side & hot air from top (fountain) side, feed atomisation is through pressure nozzle or two fluid nozzle. The design of the chamber includes: tall tower with high pressure nozzle, rotary disc atomiser type, bustle type construction and integrated fluid bed chamber. Atomisation system includes: pressure nozzle, rotary disc atomizer type and two fluid types. Shachi Engineering, a TUV certified ISO 9001: 2000 organisation, offers spray dryers, model SEPL. The company offers design development and engineering of plants to manufacture product in powder or granular form, spray cooling process. It has the capacity range from small lab models to large industrial plant. The plant is equipped with maintenance tools & tackles and process control by semi automatic to PLC SCADA based to fully automatic system.
