Description: Static eliminator comes in handy because when synthetic material passes over rollers, it causes static charges resulting in sparking, sticking, loose winding, attracting air borne dust particles and even shock to the operator. This reduces the efficiencies and deteriorates the quality of the products. Static eliminator is used to neutralize static charges. It has proved to be the most effective of all the methods used. This is a high voltage transformer with 3 piano switches - low, medium and high stage, that is, 5, 7.5 and 10 kV respectively. Provision is made to connect three or four ionators or electrodes. These ionators consist of a number of sharp pin points which produce a stream of conductive gases that flow on the surface of the synthetic material thus neutralising the static charge. Sandwich electrodes or ring electrodes are made according to the requirement. Hence neutralisation is the only remedy to remove static charges completely during process. All types of static eliminators and discharge electrodes are CE approved.
