The Little Rotter™ composting vessel has been developed for the processing of small to medium volumes of organic waste. It provides a totally contained system, controlling unpleasant odours, liquid run off and a barrier to birds & vermin. Prestressed concrete panels are designed to BS8110 pt1 and include for the allowance made in BS5502 pt22. These panels are manufactured in lengths up to 6100 (20') and are either 1m wide or 1200m (4') or 1.5 (5') wide and used in different combinations to provide multiple wall height. Panels are designed to be flexible and can withstand impacts from loading shovels. They have a very smooth finish which normally comes onto the inside of the pit, but when used for silage it is recommended that the panels are treated with a propriety brand of sealant or when crop protection is needed, a fungiside.
