The beam load cells are available in capacities ranging from 20kgs to 4,500kgs. The smaller load cells (up to 200 kgs) are manufactured from aluminum alloy and larger beam load cells from stainless steel, making them suitable for use in tough industrial environments. The strain rings are designed for deep sea structure monitoring. It is ideal for retrofitting to existing structures when strain gauging or load cells would be difficult to fit, the strain rings. The encapsulated strain ring type is suitable for non-submerged locations, and the fully sealed stainless steel version is available for submerged depths of up to 100 metres.
