Profile: Structural Diagnostics, Inc. manufactures automated ultrasonic inspection systems. Our 5100 series lab scanners are produced in a wide range of configurations including special systems for applications such as transducer evaluation and complex contour turbine blade evaluation. Systems range from low cost, fully computerized lab scanner with SDI-Versiscan motion control and acquisition package, to more complex systems with the SDI- Winscan control and acquisition package used on the larger 3D complex contour gantry systems. The motion control includes curve following, chain scan, and return to position tagged in the data file. The range of applications can be extended with the addition of optional motorized dual gimbals, turntable, and rotator. A second search tube can be added to perform curve following through transmission. We offer transducer evaluation, mechanical calibration, and certification on SDI NDT systems, instruments, computers & electronics.
