We manufacture power transmission products like A.C. drives, gear boxes and geared motors (worm & helical), and motors (AC, DC, PMDC). Sricon worm reduction gear units are manufactured in different sizes & ratios in adaptable types, as well as fix foot mounting type. It is available in various sizes ranging from 28.5 mm to 304.8 mm center distance, with a wide choice of ratios, from 5:1 to 70:1 in single stage, & 100:1 to 4900:1 in two stage. Gear housing is made from closed grain cast iron. Large cooling fins are provided on both sides for adequate cooling. Worm shaft is of single piece, accurately made out of high grade alloy steel & is highly polished. Worm wheel is made of cast phosphorous bronze (PB2) rim shrunk on central cast iron boss. Teeth are accurately hobbed by generating process. To facilitate interchangeability, each worm wheel is inspected to match the master piece. A universal joint is an all-metal coupling, which transmits torque and allows for radial & axial misalignment between two shafts. The compactness of the universal joints have made it an ideal form of coupling to transmit power efficiently where shaft misalignment is unavoidable. Universal joints are manufactured from steel on SPM's to close tolerances. Exact manufacturing accuracies ensure that these joints will perform optimally, even under different operating conditions.
